Re: Can i apply for nda, as i belong to obc? sir i have filled 2015 nda II application form. I am belong to OBC caste. But I filled creamy layer YES. But i am not belong to creamy layer. So tell me about recover method this mistake. |

XII Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities for Army and with Physics and Maths for Air Force /Navy Candidate appearing for above examination can also apply. 2.Unmarried male candidates only 3. Age between 16 1/2 to 19 years. 4. Nationality - A candidate must be either: -A citizen of India, or -A subject of Bhutan, or -A subject of Nepal, or -A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or -A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam, with the intention of permanently setting in India) -Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Certificate of eligibility will not, however, be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal. Re: Can i apply for nda, as i belong to obc? As far as your age is concerned you are eligible for writing NDA exam this year only. Since the eligible age limit for NDA is 16.5 to 19 yrs. |

Firstly i want to tell you that for applying NDA category is not important either it is obc or any other.The things matters are 1.Age limit (16 to 19years) 2.Height(165cms) 3.Finally you should be the citizen of country. Marital Status and gender: Unmarried male candidates Educational Qualification: (i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. (ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination. Dear friend i am very sorry to say that you can not appear in the exam of NDA.As to appear in the NDA exam , your age must be between 16 1/2 years - 19 years.but now you have crossed the age limit. I also want to tell you that in defense services, there is no any type of reservation for any caste.If you you want to join defense services then after graduation you can appear for CDS.Note that your age must be between 21 year to 25 year old. Re: Can i apply for nda, as i belong to obc? Yes, you belong to any category you can appear for nda exams. So don't hesistate there is no bar for caste any 10+2 passed can appear for NDA exams. Only thing is needed that you should beat this exam for joining the army |

Candidate pursing in 12th class examination can also apply. in this cast doesn't matter,if you are belong to other backward classes(OBC) then you are eligible. so friend dont worry and go. |
