Hi friend, You can surely take admission in MP Engineering Colleges after completing your Diploma in UP.But you will get less seats because every Engineering College of State reserves some % of seats for the residents of the State which is always above 50%. But you need not to worry at all because if your % in Diploma is good then you will easily get admission in the College if you are interested. Eligibility conditions for Lateral entry admissions:

Re: Can I take lateral entry in BE second year in MP, I did diploma from UP? dear friend, yes u can take entry in BE second year in other state..for that u have to appear in some lateral entry exam which is conducted bu that state, or u can do it through aieee for laterals.. there are some 10% to 15% reservation for other state students.. u will get admitted through ur rank in that lateral entry exam.. do ur best in that exam for getting good college of that state.. wish u best of luck.. |
