Re: Job Opportunities after M.S. Biotech Hi, I have had my M.S in Biotech from the University of Queensland, Australia. I want to enter field like Regulatory Affairs, can i have some guidance as to how to get into this stream in India? |

Selection should be made based on what your interests are. If you are interested in research work you could join a laboratory, pharmaceutical companies. Also there are opportunities in areas like food processing units, waste management, environmental control etc. |

Biotech because after completing this course you will get a chance to enter in the field include scientists and researchers, engineers, computer specialists, business and marketing professionals, manufacturing and production people, medical associates, statisticians, regulatory affairs specialists etc. And after completing this course, you will find jobs in these MNC's companies like Bicon, Ranbaxy etc. So, dont worry, this field is good and you will get good career after completing this course.... |

Biotech HI as you have don ms in biotechnology there would be lot of demand for you in Indian companies, i think you should try to get job as an research person in top companies like reddy and reddy and ranbaxy, you should also try your hand in companies like heritage and reliance because they are entering in the food sector and there is lots of research being done in crops and biotech engineers are required in this field and are in great demand all the best |

Job Prospects Job opportunities for postgraduates in biotechnology are increasing in India. Students can explore job options in the following fields: Drug and pharmaceutical research Public funded laboratories Chemicals Environment control Waste management Energy Food processing & Bio-processing industries. The Government of India provides large-scale employment to most biotechnologists in its research laboratories So you can apply for any of them. these are the path of bright career. so don't think much just go for it. Re: Job Opportunities after M.S. Biotech hi friend As long as your degrees are from reputed & recognized universities, you should have no problem using the degree for jobs in India or abroad . However, each company has its own additional requirements and some require you to have prior experience beyond the degree. |
