GATE are usually the derivation of fundamentals and preparation of GATE is an ongoing process and is supposed to take place in varied stages. Prepare your best with the fundamentals and then test yourself those fundamentals. The questions put in the paper are objective type with correct alternative to be selected. Tips for Gate preparation includes collecting the study material based on the syllabus, books relevant to the subject problem oriented and fundamental and basic concepts. Collecting previous years question papers for practice is a good way. Good guide books based on GATE examination and also some books on knowledge on the subject are also available.
