You belong to SC category but still you cannot get branches like metallurgy, chemical etc. in NITs. For SC category all NITs close at a rank near to 150000. But you can try in IIITs going upto last round of counselling. You may also get some private universities like Lovely Professional University very easily. But no chance of NITs. Better you take drop and prepare well. |

your rank is very far. you will not get admission in any nit college. being an sc student also, you are very far from the cut off rank of the nit. if your rank was under 1,50,000, then you must have got one seat in nit but at this rank you will not get any. but don't loose hope. you must do state counselling. you will surely get admission in a good government college. but you will have to fill all the streams of every government college. good luck |

I'll provide you a File as a attachment at the end of this post you just have a look into it In that you will have the opening and closing ranks of the college which is a NIT.I'm going to provide you the details of Opening and Closing ranks for your better understanding about the opening and closing ranks The NIT's are top rated colleges if you want to get a seat in that you should atleast get below 30 k rank even keeping in mind that you are a st categoried student. So there is not definite chance to get a seat in NIT for you except in a very rare case. But if you still want to become a student of NIT atleast next year then you take a drop for one year join in a residential Coaching campus like Narayana or Chaitanya With hardwork,Smart work and concentration crack the examination and get into NIT Now check this file which I'm going to upload in .Docx format all the best for your career regards  ~AdityA~ |
