Sir each question 2 marks I attended the 14 question, 10 question is right and 4 question is wrong negative marks is 0.25, finally how much my total score .

For every wrong answer they will deduct 1/4th marks from your actual score. So very sure about the number of questions you want to attempt. Do not rely too much on wild guess as this may backfire you.

hey friend it is common proficiency test..
in 1/4th marks is deducted for each wrong answer..
always aware about negative marking.. because 4 wrong question harm your 1 right question .. which is very responsible for your unsure result..

1/4 (One Fourth) mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Please note that multiple darkened circles for a question will also be treated as wrong answer.Please avoid it while answering.

In CPT Exams There Is Negative Marking, If You Give Wrong Answers, There Will Be 0.25 Marks Deduct For Every Wrong Answer.

MARKS SUBTRACTED FOR WRONG ANSWER IS 0.25 FOR EACH WRONG ANSWER.

Total Marks

= Total Right Answers - [ 0.25 X Total Wrong Answers ]

I wish you don't lose those 0.25 marks.

1/4 marks will be deducted for the
every incorrect answer.

So its good if answer only those questions for which you
are very much sure.

Also note that if you encircle more then one option in
that case you will be treated as wrong answer for that question.

Requirement for Passing the Common Proficiency Test

There will be negative marking for each wrong answer. 1/4 (One Fourth) mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Please note that multiple darkened circles for a question will also be treated as wrong answer.

Any fraction of mark in aggregate will be rounded off to the next full mark. It is clarified that there is no provision for improvement of result CPT examination in the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.

Therefore, such students who have once passed the CPT examination are not eligible to apply/appear afresh/again in the CPT examination.

Keep these things in mind
