Re: Age limit for SC candidates in NDA exam? Hello Age for applying NDA 16.5 to 19 years for general category Scheduled Caste,Scheduled Tribe,Other Backward Classess. At the time of commencement of the course. Defence does not have any relaxation in any criteria for reserved categories. NDA age suits only intermediate candidates. Hence is a entry for 10+2 candidates. There were speculation about increment of age in NDA,not confirmed yet. NDA 3 year graduation after clearing examination. Age must be 16.5 to 19,if 19 years 1 month,after completing selection process it will be 19 years 1 month ,which makes ineligible for NDA. |

Re: Age limit for SC candidates in NDA exam? Hi friend, NDA stands for National Defence Academy. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year. NDA-I NDA-II NDA has three wings: Indian Army Indian Air force Indian Navy Age limit: The candidate min age limit is above 16.5 years. The candidate max age limit is below 19 years. No upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. ALL THE BEST. |

NDA stands for National Defence Academy, This examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice i.e. NDA - I and NDA - II Age Limit The minimum age is - 16.5 years and The Maximum age is -19 years There is no age relaxation for this examination for this examination some other eligibility criteria are there i.e. educational qualification, nationality, physical standard etc.............. Required Eligibility Criteria for NDA EXamination Educational Qualification Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) subjects from any recognized institution There is no percentage required for this examination Age Limit Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years There is no age relaxation for this examination Nationality Candidates should be a citizen of India Marital Status Candidate should be a citizen of India Selection Procedure Written Examination Medical Test Personnel Interview Physical Standard for NDA Examination  |

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. There is no specific age for SC category candidate, in fact there is no upper age relaxation for any reserved Category candidate. The Age criteria for NDA is from 16.5 to 19 years which is same for all category candidate. Apart from this, the eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board with good physical and mental health. Dear, You want to serve the nation which is really appreciable.This NDA [NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY] examination is conducted by the UPSC [UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION]. Through this examination one can apply in all the combatant branches of the Indian army,... i.e. in AIR FORCE, NAVY, & MILITARY. branch.. The academic qualification required for this exam, is a 12th degree .. For apply in AIR FORCE& NAVAL FORCE, you must have Physics & Maths in 12th. You must have scored at least 60% in 12th [aggregate]. The age limit for this exam is 16.5-19 years.. I would like to state that, there is not any kind of age limit relaxations criteria is applicable. You must have Indian nationality. You must have MARITAL status unmarried. You need be a person of sound mental and physical condition to join armed forces. Eligibility criteriafor NDA exam is: 1. Age- 16 1/2 to 19 years. 2. Educational qualification- 10+2 with pcm from a recognised board. 3. Gender- applicable for men only. 4. Nationality- Indian. 5. Marital Status- unmarried males can apply. |

Eligibility Criteria for NDA examination: Educational Qualification: XII with Physics, Chemistry and Maths for Airforce and Navy. Age Criteria: You must have age in between 16 1/2 to 19 years. So. if your age is in between this limit and if you satisfy all other eligibility criteria than you can apply for NDA.
