You must also fulfill some other requirements to apply for this Post.  AFCAT - Air Force Common Admission Test __________________________________________________ _____________________________________________ To join Indian Air Force, you have to appear in AFCAT ( Air Force Common Admission Test ) conducted by Indian Air Force every year. Its Branches : • Flying Branch • Technical Branch • Ground Duty Branch Selection Procedure: • Written Test • SSB Interview • Medical Test AFCAT Examination Pattern :  Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT : • You should have have completed Graduation degree with Physics & Mathes subject from recognized university. • Your Age should be in between 19 to 23 years for Flying Branch. • Your Age should be in between 18 to 28 years for Technical Branch. • Your Age should be in between 20 to 25 years for Ground Duty Branch. • Both male & female candidates are eligible. • You should be Unmarried & Indian citizen. • You should be Physical & Mentally fit should not have any Physical disabilities. After completing B.tech degree you can join Indian Air Force through AFCAT entrance exam conducted for recruitment to Indian Air Force Jobs. AFCAT:- Air Force Common Entrance Test. By AFCAT you can join following three branches of Indian Air Force:- Flying Branches Technical Branch Ground Duty Branch Eligibility criteria for Flying branch: You must have complete the graduation in any trade, but must have maths and physics in 12th.. Your age should be in between 19 to 23 years. Eligibility criteria for Technical branch: You must have complete the graduation in engineering field. Your Age should be in between 18 to 28 years. Eligibility criteria for Ground duty branch: You must have complete the graduation in any trade. Your Age should be in between 20-27 year. SELECTION CRTITERIA FOR AFCAT: AFCAT Day-1 AFSB stage-1 intelligence test SCREENING Day 2-5 AFSB stage-2 physical test group test interview Day 6 branch test PABT(Flying branch) EKT(technical branch) No test for ground duty Medical Exam |

obviously...you can join in IAF. there are many modes..... 1. through CDS-combine defence services. 2. through UES-university entry scheme. these are held twice a year..... since u have completed B.tech u can only apply for various technical fields in IAF........ for more details visit oofficial website of IAF --www.indianairforce.nic.in best of luck |
