Re: How many total seats are there for general category seats in IAS? There is no fixed number of seats for IAS and IPS. The number of seats varies from year to year. The number of seats in IAS depends on the requirements of Central and State government. In some year the number of seats is 90 and some years it is 65. According to a recent notification the number of seats in civil service is increased from 500 to 610. It is expected that there will be nearly 110 seats in IAS. |
