If its AIEEE---- You can lock your choice for only a few of the NITs in the first round of counselling and its not sure to get an NIT within the 5 rounds of counselling. You can also opt for IIITs situated in Allahabad with such a rank but you have a low chance of getting admission there even after 3rd round of counselling... For other colleges your rank is sufficient enough to provide you a seat as there are a lot of colleges under AIEEE... Choice locking is very important as you cannot change the choice after you have locked it for the first 3 rounds even if you could have got admission in a college other than what u have locked... |
