Re: What should I do after 12th commerce so as to pursue CA? i hadn't registered myself with ICAI last month after my 12th board exams. Now i'm confused that either i register myself in 'august' for c.a.. Or i just go for B.com(hos.) and after completing graduation i register myself with ICAI?????????????????????????????? |

GET YOURSELF REGISTERED WITH ICAI FOR C.A CPT COURSE PROSPECTUS RS.100 QUALIFICATION FOR APPEARING IN CPT 10+2 PASSED There are three stages in CA Common Proficiency Test(CPT) IPCC Final examination Common Proficiency Test is mandatory for STUDENTS even if they are graduate . Examination will be on Paper Pencil Mode or on Online Based Test. After clearing both IPCC (group I & II ) You WILL appear for final examination CA FEE C A fee is around 40000/- to 45000/-. for futher information visit www.icai.org |

Re: What should I do after 12th commerce so as to pursue CA? you should register yourself for competency professional test or CPT. This exam is held twice a year in the month of May and November. For May test your application for registration should reach the institute on or before 30th of June. For November exam your application should reach the institute on or before 31st December of preceding year. You need to secure at least aggregate 50% marks with 40% marks in each paper to be eligible for professional,after you complete your 12 then register yourself to give CPT once you clear this exam you get an entry in the coursethen after one and a half year you have to give the exam of intermediate level.while this time you'll be also called for auditing under a c.a. |

You can get enrolled in CA on basis of class 10th pass certificate. First level of CA is the CPT examination which is objective based.After you appear for class 12th examination you will be able to sit for the CPT examination. For CPT you need to be thorough with the syllabus which includes Fundamentals of Accountancy,Mercantile Laws,General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude.For this you need to practice a lot and polish your question solving capacity. Re: What should I do after 12th commerce so as to pursue CA? hi friend after you complete your 12 then register yourself to give CPT (common proficiency tesy) once you clear this exam you get an entry in the course then after one and a half year you have to give the exam of intermediate level. while this time you'll be also called for auditing....under a c.a. after clearing intermediate the final year exams takes place after another one and a half year.... the course needs a lots of hard work as well as concentration best of luck |

In order to pursue CA Go for B.Com as they will teach you in detail about the commerce part As you will have a base in that side then you can give CA a shot Any other course will not help you that much But B.Com is such course which will help you in long run |

Re: What should I do after 12th commerce so as to pursue CA? hi dear after 12th you can join in b.com & you can pursue CA this is the better line for commerce student having a great future . now ICAI has introduce new rule for ca students, commerce students can directly join in Inter or ipcc after 2nd yrs b.com with 55% mark in aggregate. good luck......... |

This programme mainly consists of competency professional test, professional competency course, professional competency exam and final exam. If you want to persue career in CA then you should register yourself for competency professional test or CPT. This exam is held twice a year in the month of May and November. For May test your application for registration should reach the institute on or before 30th of June. For November exam your application should reach the institute on or before 31st December of preceding year. You need to secure at least aggregate 50% marks with 40% marks in each paper to be eligible for professional competency course. Another option before you is complete bachelor's degree in commerce with at least 50% marks. However if you take Mathematics in your subjects then minimum 55% marks is required to be eligible for professional competency course. For more details refer to http://www.icai.org |
