Re: How should I join Indian Army? Guidelines for the same? heyy dear, here's some info about selection procedure in indian army.. After passing 12th you can join Indian Army. For this you have to qualify the N.D.A. exam. N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. In N.D.A the candidate who pass 12th with any stream Like Science, Commerce and Arts. The age limit for N.D.A exam is 16.5-19 year. IMPORTANT DATES FOR N.D.A. & N.A. EXAM.(II), 2012 Date of Notification:-05.05.2012 Last date of receipt of form:- 04.06.2012(MONDAY) Date of exam:-19.08.2012 (SUNDAY) ------------------------ now through UPSC CDS exam, ~~ you can apply for the post of NCC MEN (If you are male ) you can apply for the post of NCC WOMEN (If you are female) your age shoudl be between 19-25 years for this post ~~ you can also apply for the CDS EXAM to join army for this exam , your age should be between 19-24 years The exam syllabus is , * General knowledge * General english * Elemenary maths The Selection process is , * Written exam * Personnel interview * Medical test Best Of Luckkk....!!!!! |

Guidelines for the same? hi dear... you want to join the indian army so you should try to give the entrance exams like indian army technical ,indian army non tech ,indian navy ,indian airforce technical and nontech also....you can also give the NDA-I AND NDA-II THROUGH UPSC exam.. for this candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness. for indian army technical post you should pass with btech degree... for more detals you can visit....www.freshersworld.com defence job and also through www.upsc.gov.in..... best of luck..... |

Re: How should I join Indian Army? Guidelines for the same? It is very good to think for serving Indian Army which you can fulfill by appearing NDA exam. NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness. There are certain prescribed Physical Fitness test the candidate has to overcome after succeeding the written exam. The final selection is made through Personal Interview followed by Medical Test. I appreciate your choice to serve for nation. Well to join Indian Army you have to appear in NDA entrance test which is organized by UPSC twice in a year namely as NDA[1] & NDA[1]. NDA is kbown as National Defence Academy UPSC is known as Union Public Service Commission To appear in NDA exam, you have to pass 12th standard in any stream(Art/Commerce/Science) from central/State Board of education. You can also appear in NDA entrance exam while appeared/appearing in 12th standard on provisional basis. To join NDA, your Age should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years. NOTE:- Only unmarried Male candidates can join Indian Army through NDA. Girls are ineligible for NDA. Only candidates having Indian citizenship are allowed to apply for NDA entrance exam.
