You get low rank that is in between 34,000-40,000. With this rank you not get admissions in N.I.T. If you want to take admissions in N.I.T then you rank should be below 25,000. If you want you can take admissions in any private engineering college. In my opinion you should try next year so that you may get top college. ALL THE BEST! |

After scoring the 130/360 I don't think that you will be getting any branch in any of the NIT colleges through the central counseling in the first round of the counseling . But you ca get some of the new NITs like that of the NIT arunchal pradesh or the NIT nagaland in the 4th round of the counseling or some others but then you won't get the branch of your choice . Also you can get the other private or the centrally funded universities taking part in the central counseling board of the AIEEE. And at your score i don't think that you will get BIT Mesra or the IIIT Allahabad . And I would suggest you to go for the counseling conducted by the different states like that of the Orissa , West Bengal and the Maharashtra whenever they conduct the counseling to take the admssion on the basis of the AIEEE rank Here I am providing the details of the Maharashtra dte counseling . So as a professional of this field said that getting NITs requires less than 10000 rank So your chances of getting in this institutes is very tough unless and until you have a specific reservation in it like Gender reservation Caste Reservation Local Reservation and again these reservation varies from institute to institute You can get some private institutes which are in Top 200 engineering colleges in india so try for the best college based upon these parameters like ->Teaching ->Facilities ->Vision ->Placements And so on this is how you have to select a good institute Regards ~AdityA~ |
