You may check subject list from this link. I did B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in year 2010 and scored 59% then I did PG-Diploma course in Information Systems and Cyber Security from C-DAC with 76.37% score. I appeared for GATE in year 2010 and scored 84.89 percentile. I also authored a research paper which got published in an International conference. Am I eligible for JRF? Can someone tell me how should I apply for it? |

Sir, I am 4th Sem M.Tech Student in VLSI Design & Embedded Systems (E&CE) and I will be Submitting my Project in June 2011 but my final viva dates for external comes in the month of sept-oct. Sir my Question , 1) Can I appear for NET exam in JUNE ,2011. 2) Syllabus for my Stream(I am B.E in E&CE & M.Tech in VLSI Design & Embedded Systems) 3)How is the recruitment done ,as I am new to this field of Exam. This is a special criteria which CSIR has for B.tech students.Which ia popular with the name GATE-JRF.The candidate will b given oppurtunity to persue P.hd directly from IIT's or IISC or NIT's or other institutes of national importance. The eligible candidates will recieve call letter which is known as "Award letter" from the Director of CSIR laboratories. Best of Luck
