Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test which is also known as CA CPT Exam is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for admitting students to Chartered Accountancy course. The test is an entry level exam. The institute conducts Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test (CA CPT) four times a year, at various cities across India. It is open only to those students who are already registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the said course and fulfill the requisite eligibility conditions. The required eligibility criteria’s are as follows: Passed Std. X examination or equivalent can join CPT after registration with the Board of Studies & can appear after appearance at Std. XII. Candidates, who have passed B.Com, M.Com, LLB, ICWA, CS or MBA at the first attempt, are also eligible to apply. The candidates, who have appeared or appearing in final year of the qualifying examination, are also eligible to apply. |

Commerce graduates are not supposed to take CPT if their score in B.Com. is 50% or more marks. If your score in B.Com. is more than 50% then you can directly register for IPCC. First you will have to register for the course. Once you are registered for the course then you can apply for IPCC group exams. There are two groups in IPCC. You can appear both group exams in the same session or you can appear the two exams in different sessions. Thank YOu! |
