Re: Can commerce students join indian army? u can join the Indian army through 2 options.They are NDA CDS NDA: National defense academy is conduct a all India entrance exam twice a year.These NDA is conducted by the UPSC. Eligibility for NDA: You have to pass your 12th with 60% of marks in any recognized board. AGE:Not more than 19 &1/2 year. CDS:Combined defense service,which is conducted by UPSC.CDS conducts the exam twice a year.After clearing entrance you have to clear the service selection board.. Eligibility for CDS: You have to pass your graduation with 60% of marks in any recognized university. According to your query you are a 10+2 student.Using that you are qualified as a solder. After completing your graduation you will become o officer. So first complete your graduation. Good luck... |

Re: Can commerce students join indian army? Yes, you can join Indian Army being an commerce students You can write CDS(Common Defence Service) or NDA(National Defence Academy) exam. The exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). Requirements for CDS * Candidates should be the citizen of India. * Unmarried male candidates can only appear the exam. * Candidates should have age limit within 19-24 years. * Candidates should get graduation from a recognized university. * Final year candidates are also eligible. * Candidates should be physically fit. |

Re: Can commerce students join indian army? yes, you are eligible for this exam , but only for military wings , (not for naval & air wings). after 12th you can apply for through NDA examination (must have maths in 12th), the age limit for NDA exam is 16.5-19. but after graduation (in any stream), you can apply through CDS\IMA exams under the age limit of 19-25. To join the Defence forces, you need to appear for the CDS exam. About CDSE: The CDS exam is conducted by the UPSC twice a year. It is held for the selection of able graduates in the defence forces of India. Candidates are alloted Permanent or Short Service commission as per eligibility. Candidates can join directly join as an officer in the Army, Air Force or Navy after completion of their training period at the various defence academies across INDIA. Hello, I am glad to hear that you are interested in joining defense sector of India and want to serve our country.Yes you can join in army because the minimum qualification for joining in army is 12th pass certificate and there is nothing that you are commerce student and so you can't.Only the thing is that if you want to join in Navy or Air force than you will need physic and maths studies with minimum marks in 12th standard otherwise if you plan for army than you are eligible.You can go for NDA which is conducted twice a year in the month of April and in the month of August. To the join the army its doesn't mean that in which stream you have completed your study. you should be passed out your 10+2th and your height must be at least 167 c.m. and first of you have to qualify in the running test which is the aspirants must be completed to 1600 meter within 5 minute and thereafter a written test will be taken by the govt. |

There are different exams for each criteria of students. for +2 students two exams are there NDA and TES. These exams are only for +2 students and in the age of between 161/2-19. Tech Entry Scheme(TES) Month of Commencement of Course each year - January and July Age at the time of joining - 16 and 1/2 to 19 and 1/2 years Educational Qualification - 10+2 Pass with 70% aggregate in PCM. Re: Can commerce students join indian army? Dear friend Definately ! You can join Indian Army, After passing 12th from Commerce. If you really want to join Army, then appear in NDA exams. If you clear the NDA entrance examination, then you can join Army. So, NDA Is the Best route for you to join the Indian Army. So, dont worry just prepare yourself for NDA entrance exams. After clear the exams, you have to face Physical exams, if you clear both, then you definately get a chance, to enter in Army. So, please work hard for NDA exams, if you really get job in Army. |

Commerce students can definetly join Indian Army. >>12TH passout commerce students can give NDA( National Defence Academy) entrance examination conducted by UPSE( Unoion Public Service Commition) in the month of april or august. In NDA examination commerce students can only aply for Indian Army but not for Indian Navy or Airforce. Age limit for this examonation is 16 1/2 to 19 yr on the date of examination. Last Date for applying up coming exam( i.e NDA-1) IS 15 november. Further if you are a graduate then you can join army from SSC ( Short Service Commition) Good Luck |
