Nationality - Citizen of India.

Age - 21 to 30 years.

Education Qualification.

Degree from a recognised university.

No of attempts:

General - 4.
OBC's - 7
SC/ST - no limit.

CA is a professional degree and even recognized by the govt.So why can't the CA not having B.com degree appear for the Civils.

dear friend, a person having bachelor's degree in any stream can apply for civil service exam, number of attempts for general category is 4.

HI!

If you pass the graduation then you are eligible for I.A.S exam..

I.A.S exam exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Qualification:- Pass graduation with any stream from recognized university.

Age limit:-
For Open category:- 21-30 year
For OBC category:- 21-33 YEAR
For ST/SC category:- 21-37 year

Number of Attempts:-
For open category:- 4 attempts
For ST/SC category:- 7 attempts


CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAM., 2012
Date of notification:-04.02.2012
Last Date of receipt of form:- 05.03.2012(MONDAY)
Date of exam:- 20.05.2012(SUNDAY)

CIVIL SERVICES (MAIN) EXAM., 2012
Date of exam:- 05.10.2012(FRIDAY)

Hi,
To be eligible for the Civil Service Examination, you must hold a bachelors degree in any stream.
The minimum eligible age is 21 years.
Maximum age limit are as follows
General candidates- 30 years
SC/ST- 35 years
OBC's- 33 years.
So, if you are a graduate, you are eligible to write the exam.
The selection procedure comprises of three stages
Civil Service Aptitude Test
Main Examination
Interview
This particular exam is conducted to recruit IPS and IAS officials. Candidates who scores highest are selected for IAS.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR APPEARING IN CIVIL SERVICES EXAM

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
the candidate must have passed at least a graduation from any recognized board or university.

Age Criteria :


(1)General: 21 to 30 years.

(2)OBC : 21 to 33 years.

(3)SC/ST : 21 to 35 years.

NUMBER OF PERMISSIBLE ATTEMPTS :

(1)GENERAL : 4

(2)OBC : 7

(3)SC/ST : no limit upto the age of 35 years.

So check above condition . if you fulfills the above criterian, then yes you are eligible other wise not.

YES you can give CIVIL SERVICE EXAM and can become an IAS/IPS.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CIVIL SERVICE EXAM :

you should be graduate .

candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications as equivalent to
professional and technical degree would also be eligible for admission to the examination.

your age should be between 21 years to 30 years .

there is some relaxation in upper age also given to SC/ST and OBC students

35 years for SC/ST
33 years for OBC

to apply for the civil services exam you have to have a minimum of the 60% of the marks in the 10 , 10+2 , and graduation ...(from a recognized institution )

and the age limit is from 21years to 30 years for the general candidates ....

so if you fulfill all the criteria then you can apply for the civil services exam ......

Yes you can apply for the Civil Service examination after the
completion of your graduation. The civil service examination is
conducted by the UPSC every year.
There are three stages in civil service examination.

1. Preliminary test

2.Main Test

3.Interview

The detailed eligibility criteria required for this examination is
given below.

Education Qualification
Candidate should have a degree in any discipline.
Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible
to apply for the examination.

Age Limit
Candidate age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Yes you are eligible and can apply for IAS exam.

Eligibility criteria for IAS Examination is:-

a) Candidate must have 21 years of age

b) Candidate must complete graduation from a recognized University.

To apply for civil service exam you must be graduate and your age limit

must be from 21 to 30 yrs. So if you had completed a degree and you are age

satisfies the above limit you can apply for civil service exam.

yes a CA student can write the civil service... as Minimum education criteria = Graduate

He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing

How to apply:-You have to apply for UPSC (Union Public Services Commission) exam.

This time UPSC pattern is changed and it is called as CSAT which is coming into effect from Civil Services Examination, 2011.and so there is no option subjects...


It consits of two paper and each paper of Two hrs..


(Paper 1) (200 marks) consists of
  • Current events.
  • History
  • Geography
  • Indian Polity and governance
  • Economic and social development
  • and General science.

It is of purely objective type and qualifying exam...

(Paper II) (200 marks)
  • Comprehension
  • Logical reasoning and analytical ability
  • Decision making and problem solving
  • General mental ability
  • Basic numeracy(Class X level)
  • English language comprehension skills (Class X level)

It is of purely subjective type and followed by interview....
Based on the overall ranking and your choice of cadre, you will be provided IFS (Indian Foreign Service), IAS or IPS. The higher your rank, the choice is with you.

Civil services exam is conducted by UPSC every year.........

A candidate should fall in the age group 21-30 years for giving the exam for general............
for OBC's- 33 years&
for SC/ST- 35 YEARS.......

He/She should also have a graduate degree from a recognized college and universities by the government of INDIA......

AND IF YOU HAVE THE ABOVE QUALIFICATION THEN YOU CAN DEFINITELY GIVE CIVIL SERVICES EXAMS.........SO you as a CA student can give the exam....

SO PREPARE WELL......

u r eligible for UPSC exam.....
as minimum qualification required for this is ... bachelor degree in any stream..

u r eligible for UPSC exam.....

You can apply for IAS exam,if you fulfill below given requirements.
  • Minimum graduation degree in any stream
  • Age should be between 21 to 30 years for General category candidates,21 to 33 years for OBC category candidates,only minimum age is requires for SC/ST candidates i.e 21 years

To Appear in Civil service examination, you need bachelor degree from a recognised colleges and universities. And to appear in UPSC Civil services examination, your age should between 21 to 30 years.

And If Any candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications which are recognised by Government as equivalent to professional and technical degree would also be eligible for admission to the examination.
