Actually, Psychologists need a sound study to expertise in an aspect of psychology. Its not essential to be a medical degree holder to be a psychologist.One can right away pursue Psychology at the plus two level.. To be Clear about Clinical Psychologists.. The Clinical Psychologists work in counseling centers, independent or group practices, hospitals, community health centers or clinics. They help mentally and emotionally disturbed clients adjust to life. So, it hardly matters whether you study here or abroad. All you need is a sound knowledge & fine experience. Hence, I'd advise you to study in a specialized university for psychology studies. Be it in India or somewhere else... Though there are immense job opportunities in India, it is better to opt for a study abroad to get a better hold on your prospects. |
