Can you please help me if I can get any coaching for the entrance examination in Mumbai. As I have been trying to find a class/ training center here in Mumbai but unable to. It shows only UP address. Kindly assist me with the same. |

To join CBI(Central Bureau of Investigation) officer you have to appear for Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam conducted by SSC(Staff Selection Committee) * Candidates should have a graduation from a recognized university. * The age limit must be within 20 to 27 for general category. * The age limit must be up to 35 years for SC/ST candidates. * The age limit must be up to 33 years for OBC candidates. Syllabus Criminal law, Medicine, Police Administration. Attempts: For General category - 4 attempts. For SC/ST category - No limit For OBC category - 7 attempts Best wishes |

To join CBI or CID ,you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year. Regards *Kapila* |

Re: Is there any specific course to get into CBI or CID after passing 12th? hiii, there are no special courses for CBI and CID after doing your 12th... after graduation you should write the exams conducted by UPSC to get into these fields of service... there are other courses for the supporting works of cbi and cid to learn but these all are valid or considered after your graduation itself. |

You just need to be a graduate to apply for CBI or CID.These exams will be conducted by the UPSC board and SSC board.If your selected in the exams then you need to persue the course of criminology/forensic science and medicine/police administration/correction management..etc under the government. If your interested then you can even go through M.sc in forensic science or criminolgy separately before applying for this post. all the best |

Well you can build your carrer by taking admission in forensic science courses like BSc. Or MSc. in forensic science, you can also go with diploma courses in forensic science Good Luck |

Re: Is there any specific course to get into CBI or CID after passing 12th? there no specific courses for CBI and CID. a 10+2 passed student also not eligible for CBI and CID examination. you must be graduate to appear in CBI or CID examination. there are various types of examination for joining in CID and CBI. there is an examination conducted by UPSC and also one examination conducted by SSC. you may appear in these examination after completion of your graduation. so now prepare for your graduation. later try for CBI and CID. best wishes. |
