ELIGIBILITY FOR GPAT -

Persons holding Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy 4 years after 12th or appearing in the Final year examination of B. Pharmacy 4 years after 10+2 only are eligible for appearing for GPAT examination.

Persons Who are in Final Year of B.Pharm / Completed B.Pharm degree after lateral entry into B.Pharm after D.Pharmacy are also eligible to appear for GPAT Exams.

AVAILABILITY OF APPLICATION FORMS -

Information Brochure and Application Form can be obtained on cash payment of Rs 1000/- (Rs 500/- for SC/ST/PD) from the designated Branches of Bank of Baroda Or from the GPAT Office -

Academic eligibility

Hi!
The eligibility for the GPAT will be bachelor's in pharmacy(4year) after 10+2, or final year of pharmacy.
The exam conducted generally in the month of February every year.
You can collect the application form from the respective banks or apply online.

As you want to know about the GPAT exam i describe follow it-
first of all eligibility for GPAT is that one should hold degree of Bachelor's in pharmacy(4 years after 10+2) or the person appearing in the final year examination of pharmacy(graduation)is eligible.

GPAT exam is conducted by collaboration of several committee NMC is one of them.exams dates are also decided by them.moreover most probably exam for 2011-2012 session will be conduct in the month of february(2011)...

Dear Friend,
GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) is conducted under the aegis of National Monitoring Committee(NMC), All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi by The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara.

Eligibility Criteria for GPAT :-

1:You should have Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2)
or
2:appear in the Final year examination of B. Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2) in the current year only are eligible for appearing for GPAT examination.
or
3:The candidates who are in Final Year of B.Pharm / Completed B.Pharm degree after lateral entry into B.Pharm after D.Pharmacy are also eligible to appear for GPAT

Date of Exam:- You can not sit in GPAT 2010,you can sit next year.
generally,the GPAT exam is held on the month of May,1st week.

GPAT exam pattern :-

1:Examination will consist of a single paper of 3 hours duration containing 100 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks.

2:The question paper will consist of only multiple choice objective-type questions each with four choices for the answer.

3:You will have to mark the correct choice on an Optical Response Sheet (ORS) by darkening the appropriate bubble against each question.

Negative Marks :-
1:There will be negative marking for each wrong answer that is 1/3 (one-third) mark will be deducted.

GPAT application forms are generally come out in the month of Jan-Feb and examination is held on May-June.

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is conducted normally in the May. In 2010 GPAT was conducted on 2nd May. The forms will be available in the last week of January. Any candidate who has completed Bachelors in Pharmacy or is in the final year of Bachelors in Pharmacy is eligible to appear for the test.

GPAT-GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST is an all india examination conducted by The MS University of Baroda,vadodhara on behalf of all india council for technical education,new delhi.


Admission to pg programmes with MHRD and other government scholarships in pharmacy is open to those who qualify through gpat...candidates who qualify GPAT examination and have bachelors degree in pharmacy are eligible for admission to master/doctoral programmes in pharmacy..

Hi u can give the gpat exam after complete ur degree in pharmacy after 12th n the online series of gpat exam is started in september.the graduate pharmacy aptitude test is u can give after complete ur farmacy degree ok. Best of luck

As you asked about Graduate pharmacy aptitude test (GPAT)...so i would like to tell something regarding your concern:-

another one more thing i would like to tell you that there is an online test series started from second week of september 2011 for GPAT entrance,there will be 20 test conducted till the entrance test came..time for minor test is of 90 minutes & that of major is of 120 minutes...there will be 100 questions in each seies.result of your test will be displayed after one minute after compltion of your test.registration method along with syllabus for test is provided on internet...
