To become Sub Inspector you must first apply for the SI exam This exam is conducted by STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION And you must have a Graduation from a Recognized university You must have minimum of 20 years And you must be an INDIAN CITIZEN The maximum age is allowed up to 27 years For more details , you please visit its official Website .. Candidate age limit is 20 to 25 years. 3 years age relaxation for OBC Candidates 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates Selection Process : Written test Medical Test Physical Test Interview  All the best........... |

SELECTION PROCEDURE:- Generally there will be preliminary exam i.e. written exam consisting of aptitude. general awareness, intelligence, decision skills etc. 05. PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST:- After the candidate qualifies preliminary test the candidate needs to attend physical fitness test consisting of * 5 km running in 25 minues * Push ups * Chin ups * Long jump * Short jump * Rope Climbing it will be followed by an interview in general (the selection procedure may slightly vary from state to state) |

Eligibility: All entries regarding the sub-inspector requires a graduation in any field and for this a person AGE CRITERIA : should be between 20-25 years of age. Pattern: Generally entrance exam would come in this performa: Paper I : (a) General Intelligence and Reasoning (b)General Awareness (c)Numerical Ability Paper II : Subjects : (a) Hindi Language - 100 Marks (b) English Language - 100 Marks |

Re: Required Qualification to become SI? Required qualification to become SI are : 1. Cheat = 79-84cm 2. Height = 168cm 3. 6/6 or 6/9 for distant vision. Since, these are the academic qualification, you must have these qualifications to become an SI. |

Age of candidate must be minimum 20 and maximum 25 years.Relaxation for sc/st/obc in upper age limit. Physical ability is also must. Height is Minimum 170 Cms and Chest is Minimum 81 to 85 cms. Both eyes should have a vision 6/12 (without glasses). and not any relaxation is allowed to non genral candidates. Physical test-Candidates have to complete 1600 mtrs Race in 6 minutes to qualify. Exam pattern- There are two papers in the exam. 1. Paper I a. General Intelligence and Reasoning b.General Awareness c.Numerical Ability 2. Paper II a. Hindi Language - 100 Marks b. English Language - 100 Marks |
