Hi AIEEE as you may know is the top most Engineering Entrance Exam in the country as it is the largest in the number of participants. AIEEE - All India Engineering Entrance Exam. This is basically conducted and organized every year by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) to select Engineering aspirants who have recently attempted their 12th boards and thus grant them seats in different Engineering and Technical universities all over the nation. The Basic Eligibility Criteria to apply for any Engineering is that you should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school with over 60% aggregate in it. Also you must have studied Science stream i.e PCM. Now coming to your question, I would say you are eligible for the B.Tech course, but NO you are not Eligible at all for any of the NIT's across the country.This is because you know that NIT- National Institute of Technology is one of the most reputed chains of technical education. So hence with over 1 lac rank you cannot even think of getting admission there. YES sure you can always try for the private colleges like SRM, LPU, Amity, VIT, etc.. and there your plea may be considered for the admission. Hope this helps All the best Regards RANJEET |

Am I eligible for B.tech admission in NIT Jalandhar after having 116111 rank in AIEEE? I belong to general cat. In my AIEEE exam my all india cat. rank is 116111 and state rank is 4278 . Em I eligible for doing B.Tech course from NIT jalandhar.. i missed the 1st cycle councelling so can I apply for the 2nd cycle.. |
