There are no such age criteria doing Law. Generally, universities offering Law course conduct an Entrance Test for admission to the programme. The application forms for this course are available in the month of April-May every year. Law course i.e. LL.B.(Bachelor of Law) can be pursed in two modes:-

Five years integrated Law course can be pursed after 12th with 50% marks in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 20 years.

AND

Three years LL.B. can be pursed after completion of Graduation in any stream with 50% marks from a recognised University within the age of 30 years.

To get admission to top Law colleges you have to appear for entrance exam like CLAT(Common Law Admission Test) conducted by NLU.

There are actually many law courses.
B.A. L.L.B - For this the candidate must have completed intermediate. The duration of the course is 5 years.
L.L.B - For this the candidate must have completed Graduation. The duration of the course is 3 years.
L.L.M. - It is a 2 years post graduation course in Law. It can be done by only those candidates who have completed L.L.B. or B.A.L.L.B
There are also many other diploma courses in tax laws, labor laws, Administrative Law etc. offered by many universities.

Some of the major law entrance tests and their eligibility criteria are -

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)

eligibility criteria - The candidates who have passed the intermediate exam with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks are eligible for it. there is a relaxation of 5 % for SC/ST/OBC/PD candidates
-The upper age limit is 20 years for the General and OBC candidates and 22 years for SC/ST/PD candidates

All India Law Entrance Test (AILET)

eligibility criteria- The candidates who have passed the intermediate exam with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks are eligible for it
-The age of the candidate must be below 21 years and 23 years for SC/ST candidates.

LSAT – India

eligibility criteria-
LLB course - The candidate must have completed Bachelors degree with minimum of 50% marks.
BA LLB- The candidate must have completed intermediate with minimum of 50% marks.

Some other major law entrance tests are Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) and Lloyd entrance test for Law.

The eligibility criteria for LLB is as under-

1. One should have a B.A / BSc / B.com degree with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate and 35% for SC/ST candidates.There is also a 2% Weightage for the post graduate degree holders.

2. For seeking admission in this law course the students have to give an entrance test and a personal interview.

3. You must be in the age group of 17 to 20 years.

If you are interested in this course, then you have to appear in the CLAT Examination that is conducted every year.

Course: The Candidates for 3 year LL.B. / B.L. should have passed any Graduate Degree(10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned. 5 Year LL.B./B.L. Hi,

LLB stands for Bachelor of Law. The admission for LLB course is based on CLAT examination. If you score good percentage in CLAT examination then you will get admission in reputed college.

ELIGIBILITY FOR LLB:

The applicant should be complete graduation in any stream from recognized university.

The applicant should be score min 55% of marks in graduation. The relaxation is applicable for sc/st candidates.

The admission for LLB course on the basis on merit list.

CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. It can entry level examination for Law course. If your aspiring to apply for this examination then you should be citizen of india.

You should qualified in 12th standard from any recognized school.

The candidate need the 50% marks in 12th level.

You age should not more then 20 years.

The age relaxation is applicable for sc/st and obc candidates.

CLAT exam stands for common law admission test.
Maximum age limit is 20 years.
After 12th, there is 5 years LLB course.
After graduation, there is 3 years LLB course.

If you are Interested in Law course then you have to complete your Intermediate examination with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board for admission in 5 year LLB Course and those who have already completed his graduate degree course then they are eligible for 3 years LLB Course.

So, please apply for LLB Course as per your Eligibility Criteria, the admission is based on CLAT Entrance examination.

CLAT stands for Common Law Admission test and to apply for this examination you must have completed your Intermediate examination with minimum 50% Marks, final year appearing candidates are also apply for CLAT Undergraduate course, but for this your age should not be more than 20 years.

Those who have completed his graduate degree course in BA/LLB with minimum 50% marks are eligible for LLM course.

CLAT Entrance examination is conducted every year and for this year examination was already completed and if you are interested in this course, then please apply for CLAT Examination in 2013 and then you can get admission in top Law colleges and for more details check official website:
