More about PCS :[The PCS exam taken by Punjab Public Service Commission ]. So I am pleased to say you that are eligible to apply for this exam after your Graduation(B.A.) with 47% marks. Eligibility Criteria for PCS: You must be an Indian citizenYou should have completed Graduate in any stream from recognized University. Your Age must be between 21 to 33 years for General category. 21 to 35 for OBC. 21 to 35 for SC/ST. Final year Students also eligible on provisional basis. |

Re: Can I apply for PCS exam after passing with 57%? Hello friend, yes, you can apply for PCS OR UPSC only if you belong to SC/ST candidates as the age limit for SC/ST is 33 years within. And if you belong to General candidates is within 28 years. Numbers of attempt: 4 for General, 7 for OBCS. ,and for SC/ST the attempt is unlimited. Good luck. |

Re: Can I apply for PCS exam after passing with 57%? PCS, you mean UPSC(UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION) exam conducts various examinations for various Govt. Dept. of India such as:- NDA, CDS, IES, CIVIL SERVICE, SCRA There is no requirement of any percentage of marks for UPSC exam only required educational qualification and age qualifies one to appear for the respective examination conducted by UPSC. You have not mentioned your educational qualification, hence if you have completed 12th in any discipline and an unmarried male within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age and interested for Defence Service then you will be eligible for NDA exam and if you are a graduate in any discipline you can apply for CDS exam. Graduate Engineers are eligible to apply for SCRA(Special Class Railway Apprentice) and IES(Indian Engineering Service) If you are interested for administrative services like IAS, IPS, IRS etc. then you have to appear for Civil Service Exam with an educational qualification of Graduation from any discipline within the age of 21 to 30 years of age. So decide first to which UPSC exam you want to appear and for further information you may log on to official wesite of UPSC i.e. www.upsc.gov.in |
