Hello, You can most certainly do your MA in english literature given that you score more than 50% marks in your graduation and your college is AICTE or UGC recognised. |

After the complition of your +2, with required marks from any stream Science or Arts and other in a recognized Board or university. Aspiring candidate can apply for the under graduation course Bachelor of Degree in English Literature. Admission process will be under the Merit or the entrance exam marks. A candidate who complete the Three years degree in English with maximum 55% can able to apply for the Post Graduation or MA in English. Admission conducts as the same entrance results |

Hi, my honors are MBA in Marketing and BSc in Hotel Management. I believe that I am qualified for MA. I want to shift my career to Literature. My plan is to complete MA, clear NET, start as an assistant professor and then PhD. My age is 26. So will der be problems in terms of past records as its nowhere related to Literature. If I clear NET will UGC be directly posting, is der any issues or criteria I need to be concerned about. If my plan A doesnt work out what other options you could suggest as Iam taking big leap of faith ,leaving behind a corporate career. |

I believe that's is eligible enough to take MA in English Literature. But I want to know more on the career options. I want to shift my career to Literature. Prepare for Net , become an assistant professor then a PhD in Literature. My age is 26. If I clear Net , wouldn't I be posted as an ast prof by the UGC. Will there be problems stating my past records? |

MA requires very basic qualifications: The candidates must be complete graduation degree in any recognized university. Candidate should have completed Graduation with minimum 50% marks. If you satisfy these eligibility criteria then you are eligible. Good luck |

Hi dear, M.A in english required 50% in your graduation in any field or stream.But its not neccessary of 50% because its all depends on colleges and university. Many universities required sufficient % and many take entrance exam also. But neccessary is that you had complete you graduation. Yes you can do M.A. after BSc Biotechnology. Good Luck |
