Re: Can i get any NIT after scoring a rank of 133783 and OBC category rank of 35792? Hi friend.. NIT admission is based on AIEEE rank and admission is done through AIEEE counselling. There are almost 10 NITs in our country and many new are under construction. Since NITs are the premiere institutes in our country for engineering,so the cut off ranks for NITs are very high. Your score in AIEEE is not so well and you won't be able to get any NIT. An OBC candidate can get admissin in NIT if his rank is under 35,000. So,you have no chance to get admission this time. However,if this was your first attempt,you can go for next attempt with lot of practice and hard work. You can perform much better next time. Best of luck. Thanks. |

Sorry but your AIR could not help you at all to get any nit but yes there is some possibility to get an nit from your category rank but its also very less.Better you try for other colleges and try to clear any other college entrance exam.All the best for your future. |
