Dear friend,
Since you are not a graduate you are not eligible to sit for the exam. But what you wanted to know all is that yes you can. Graduates from any discipline but from a recognised university are eligible to sit for the job.
Age for general candidates must be between 21-30
For OBC and SC/ST it is 21-33 and 21-35 respectively.
Thank you.regards.

Hey friend,

IAS, IPS and IFS are Indian Civil Services of India

IAS - Indian Administrative Service

IPS - Indian Police Service

IFS - Indian Foreign Service

For joining in these forces you need to write the IAS,IPS and IFS exam which is being conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

These exams have similar eligibility criteria which has to be satisfied by you in order to apply for the exams.

They include such as:

> Candidate need to be a citizen of India.

> The age limit for the exam is that the candidate must have 21-30 years of age.

> For SC/ST candidates should have 21-35 years

> For OBC candidates should have 21-33 years

> And for Ex-service men they get 5 years exception from the prescribed limits.

> Education qualification for the exam is that the candidate must have completed a degree from a recognized university with a fair percentage.

> Candidate need to be physically fit for the IPS Exam

Selection Procedure:
  • Preliminary Exam
  • Main Exam
  • Interview
