Re: Which are the subjects which come under Bank PO exam? Bank PO jobs are in hot demand in these days. The number of candidates who are applying for Bank PO jobs are going on increasing. Here is the selection procedure to get PO job in various Banks. Written Exam Interview The written exam consists of questions from the following categories Reasoning Numerical Ability General Awareness General English Computer Knowledge One should have to score minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam to get through it. In addition there is negative marking for the wrong answer questions. So, you have to be very careful with this. In the case of public sector, IBPS is conducting common written exam for the recruitment of these positions. But in the case of private sector each and every bank will conduct its own written exam for the recruitment of PO positions. You should have scored a minimum of 60% of marks in your Graduation to apply for Bank PO jobs. Your age should be between 20-28 years. You should be a citizen of India and it would be an added advantage for you if you have minimum computer knowledge. So, try to purchase good books for the above mentioned subjects and carry out your preparation. Try to practice previous year papers and take mock tests also. Then you can evaluate your performance. Bank PO exam syllabus:- Reasoning- 50 marks (50 questions) English Language- 25 marks (50 questions) Quantitative Aptitude- 50 marks (50 questions) General awareness with reference to banking industry- 50 marks (50 questions) Computer knowledge- 50 marks (50 questions) Descriptive papers on english composition- 25 marks (50 questions) Total marks:- 250 marks. Basic in computer: You must have have a minimum of 6months course degree or computer application/science in either matriculation or intermediate. 6.
