Start Career in IT industry

When you apply for off-campus interviews in IT companies..they are going to closely scrutinize your resume..

The first question that an HR is going to ask you is what exactly you did in these 2 years..

So you should be able to give an answer which can justify your 2 years gap and also you should have something meaningful to say to them which you did in those 2 years..

There are many IT companies in India who can give freshers a good chance like TCS,Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, Syntel and many more..

I'll let you know about the major IT company eligibility details..

TCS,Wipro,Tech Mahindra and Accenture

1) You should not be possessing any backlogs at the time when you appear for the campus placements..

2) The minimum percentage requirement in 10th,12th,graduation and MCA should be at least 60%

Infosys

1) No backlogs at the time of campus placement..

2) The percentage requirement for Infy is 65%

Syntel

1) Percentage requirement is that of 50% aggregate in 10th,12th,graduation and MCA or B.Tech

2) Any pending backlogs not allowed..

The process for selection of candidates for all IT companies is generally as follows :-

1) Written Aptitude Test + Paragraph Writing

2) Technical Interview

3) HR Interview

If you want to practice mock aptitude tests and know more on what type of interview questions can be asked you can Click Here

all the best..

With Warm Regards

Dear Friend,

Being an MCA pass out, you can start your career in following ways:

1. Upload your resume on various job portals and keep updating it regularly

2. Upload your resume in career section of company's official website

3. Appear for ELITMUS test, companies will call you for interview based on your score in this test

4. Request any of your working friend to recommend your name.

All the best.
Thank you.

It's been a long time.Every time you apply for the software job they asks for he experience certificate and asks what you have done in this gap of 2 to 3 years. So, it's better to join in small company first may be it's paying you less or more then you work there for 6 months then after that try for good and reputed company with your work experience and try have sound knowledge in the post you are applying for and also try to improve your communication skills.

Even you can write any govt.jobs as most of the government jobs asks the qualification as just degree from recognized university. But you have MCA so you have more than required qualififcation. So, you can try for software jobs and along with it try even for the government jobs also.

MCA stands for Master of Computer Applications. This is a 3 year technical related course being offered by many of the colleges all over India.

You have completed your MCA course in the year of 2010 and worked in teaching area.

I don't know the reason why you want to make entry into IT sector.

Your work experience will not be given preference if you want to join in IT job and you will be considered as a fresher only.

The job opportunities in IT field are not constant. If one technology is a advanced one and which is released recently, then there will be good number of job opportunities for the candidates on the basis of that technology.

After some days, if new technology has arrived into the market, then it will get the demand.

One thing you can do to make entry into is complete your SAP in ABAP.

Put 2-3 years of experience and try to be strong enough in your preparation as an experienced candidate.

The job opportunities in ERP Packages are ever green like
SAP
Oracle Apps

Only thing is that you should have to attempt the Interviews well by clearly explaining about your previous projects.

If you are the person who is ready to take risk, then you can make entry into this course. Otherwise, please continue in your teaching profession.

You can do M.Phil or Ph.d courses to get good job opportunities in the field of Teaching.

Decide yourself of which is suitable for you and opt for the same.

Wish you all the best.
