PSI means Police Sub Inspector. Usually Gujarat Police invites candidates once a year for both PSI and Constable jobs. Since you have already submit the form, I would not go and write about eligibilty to appear in the test.

First thing that you need to prepare yourself is physical exam. This is the most important since if you failed the physical exam, there is no point for next part of the test.

Physical Screening Test IB-PSI criteria (Men)

You should be able to run 100 meters in 15 seconds

Long jump - 4.27 meters

High jump - 1.22 meters

Running 800 meters within 3 minutes and 10 seconds

Putting the shot (7.257 kg) 5.90 meters

The same requirements for women candidates are:

Running 100 meters in 18 seconds

Long Jump - 2.78 meters

High Jump 0.99 meters
hi friend..................
Running 800 meters 4 minutes and 5 seconds

Putting the shot (3.629 kg) 4.80 meters

The second part of the exam is Preliminary test which would include questions about GK, current affairs, history, science etc.

Third Part is Main Exam which includes 3 papers of total 350 marks

As far as the book is concerned there is no good ebook to prepare for PSI exam.

As far as the book is concerned there is no good ebook to prepare for PSI exam. In fact most of the books you would find in a book store would not satisfy you. The one book which actually does work is P.S.I. Prasnotari by Yashshvi Prakasan. The book is in gujarati language and can be found at any book store across major cities in Gujarat.
