Re: How can I apply for Indian Army after completing graduation in B.A? After Graduation in Arts you can apply for Indian Army through CDS. CDS - COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE exam conducted by UPSC two times every year as CDS-I and CDS-II for entry in to:- INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY INDIAN AIR FORCE ACADEMY INDIAN OFFICER'S TRAINING ACADEMY The eligible candidate must be an Indian citizen having either appear for the graduation degree final exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 years to 25 years of age. As you are from Arts stream you can apply for Indian Military and Officer's Training Academy of CDS. If you are interested you can apply for CDS-II 2012 exam, the notification for which will come out in the month of June 2012 followed by exam in the month of September 2012. For further details you may log on to official website of UPSC i.e. www.upsc.gov.in |

Eligibility for NDA exam:- For Army wing:- 1.Candidate must have complete the 12th in any trade. 2.Candidates age should be in between 16.5-19 years. 3.Candidate must be a citizen of India. 4.Candidate must be physically fit |

appearing for UPSC exam conduce twice a year (may and December) it consists of written exam, if you clear written exam you will be called for SSB/SSC center (Bangalore, Bhopal, Allahabad), it will be of 8 to 15 days duration, here you have give written test, aptitude test, GTO, GD, medical test after this you will be selected on all India merit base age limit 19yrs to 24 yrs Training institution: IMA (for permanent commission in army) duration of training is 18months OTA (for short service in army) duration of traninig is 49 weeks you will be recruited as lieutenant promotions on time base Best of luck |

To apply this examinations the candidate must have to complete 12th or graduation from a recognized university. National Defense Academy (NDA): Education Qualification: 12th pass from a recognized university. Age Limit: - 16.5 to 19 years. Combined Defence Service (CDA) Examination: Education Qualification: Completion of Graduation from a recognized university. Age Limit: - 19 to 24 years. University Entry Scheme (UES) Examination: Education Qualification: Completion of Graduation from a recognized university Age Limit: - 18 to 25 years. Re: How can I apply for Indian Army after completing graduation in B.A? Hello Friend, For Indian Army you have to appear for Combined Defense Service exams conducted by UPSC. The forms will be available from 02.06.2012 till 02.07.2012 for the written test to be held on 16.09.2012. You have to fill the form in order to sit for the exams.
