It is also a leading organization in gas, mining and oil sectors. Jindal has a large work force of about 15000 employees. It is one of the most dependable organizations. Job profile: The trainees will be given sufficient training in various departments relevant to their field. They will be required to handle and work on various systems. They will be responsible for executing the activities and provide assistance to their seniors. Eligibility: Only the Indian nationals can apply. A candidate must not be more than 27 years of age. Educational qualifications: A candidate must have a B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in any of the following – Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Metallurgical, Instrumentation and Control and projects of JSPL or JPL. No. of posts: There are 400 vacancies for GETs. Pay Scale: The pay scale given to a GET is not specified but it would be around Rs15000 per month. Selection process: The candidates will have to undergo a written exam and then a GD and an interview. How to apply: The candidates are required to get a DD made in the favor of Jindal Steel and Power Ltd payable at New Delhi for Rs500. The candidates have to apply online and get the print out of the online application. Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) In Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Metallurgical/Civil for plants and projects in various National & International Locations Eligibility Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Engineering / Technology in any of the above mentioned disciplines from a recognized university / Institute with minimum 60% marks throughout the academic years (10th, 12th / Diploma, Degree). Candidates graduating in 2011 (currently in VII semester can also apply) Age: B.Tech/B.E : Candidates born or or after Jan 01, 1986, ME/M.Tech : Candidates born or or after Jan 01, 1984. Candidates having NPTIn degree will be given due weightage for power projects. Selection The selection of the candidates will be through written examination (Domain Test + Aptitude Test) , Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview. Written test will be conducted offline at the following centers : Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkatta, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chandigarh, Bhubaneshwar, Raipur, Ranchi, Nagpur, Lucknow, Bhopal, Jaipur & Varanasi. The Management reserves the right to change the test center & date depending on the number of candidates and exigency if any. How to Apply Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online only through JSPL website: www.jindalsteelpower.com. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted. Please go through the website for detailed information and ensure you completely fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post you want to apply. Before online registration of the application on the website the candidates should possess the following: Stamped copy of the SBI challan Form/Pay in slip of Rs.500/- paid as examination fee with Journal Number and Branch Code. (Rs.25/- to be paid to SBi as bank charges). SBI chalan FOrm (Pay in slip) is available on the website. VAlid email ID Soft copy of a passport size photograph to be uploaded during online registration.
