Hi friend for giving the entrance exam of IPS,the candidate must have the graduation degree from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks. Age limit => 21-30 years. Age relaxation for the OBC canidates is 3 years and for SC candidates is 5 years. This exam contains a written test,interview and medical checkup etc. GOOD LUCK

Re: Minimum age and qualifications to appear for IPS exam? Dear aspirant, IPS is service post which is organised by UPSC every, it is under Civil Service. The minimum age limit is 21 and maximum age limit is 30 for general, 33 for OBC and 35 for SC/STs and more age relaxation to various groups such as Ex-serviceman,widow etc. The minimum educational qualification is Graduation with any subject from india university. For IPS- Height 每 Male 165 cm Pahari Male (general also) & ST (not the SC/ OBC) 每 160 cm Chest 每 Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm. Eye sight 每 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. Near vision J 1 for good eye. J2 for worst eye. The correction is by lenses only. High standard for the Colour-blind test. No inherent night blindness. Vision should stereoscopic. Blood pressure (High) 每 Age 23 每 123, age 24 每 124, age 25 每122, age 28 每 124, age 30每125, age 32 每 126, age 34 每 127. Ear- good listening & normal ear cavity. 1000 to 4000 frequency hearing impairment shd not be more than 30 decibels. I hope dear it is useful for you... Best of luck |
