Different vacancies in public sector companies like BHEL, SAIL, NTPC, ONGC, BEL etc will appear in their official sites in the form of notifications. Candidates can apply as per the vacancies for which they are eligible. Candidates can attend PSU exams if they have scored 60% marks in B.Tech course. You can apply for PSU exams via online by logging in the concerned company site. You need to first deposit the required amount of application fees and can fill in the online application forms. The procedure of selection for technical positions will be through written examination. This will include aptitude as well as subject based questions. Re: How to apply for PSU entrance exam? Hello dude! Public sector undertakings recruit candidates based on the GATE EXAM. Some companies are conducting exams for recruiting candidates. Eligibility: The eligibility details of the EXAM are: * Must have minimum 21 years of age. * Must have completed B.E/B.Tech from any recognized university. * Candidates must have secured 65% of marks in B.Tech. If candidates pass the exam then they will get into INTERVIEW round. Further selection of candidates is made in the final round. Re: How to apply for PSU entrance exam? The procedure to apply for exam is different for each Public Sector Undetakings in India. What you need to do is wait for the official job ad post by the company you are interested in applying. Most companies in PSU sector like DRDO, ONGC, ISRO have exam of their own. You need to apply separately for these exams. The ads are either placed on the official website of the PSU or leading newspapers in India like The Hindu, Times of India, Hindustan Times, Indian Express etc. The job ads would give you correct idea of what are the eligibility to appear in the exam. For exam there are several Public Sector Undertakings, some of which are mentioned below that require Engineering students. BHARAT HEAVY ELECTRICALS LIMITED GAIL HINDUSTAN AERONONAUTICS LIMITED NATIONAL THERMAL POWER CORPORATION DRDO ISRO ONGC Mostly for B.Tech candidate the eligiblity are as mentioned below: B.Tech degree in the course as mentioned in the ad. At least 60 per cent marks in B.Tech for General category students. SC/ST requires 55 percent marks in the degree course. Age Limit varies from company to company and the job. If you are applying in Nationalised Banks or Indian Railways, there are entrance exams that you are required to pass. Depending on the marks you obtained in the written exam, you will be called upon for interview following which you may get the job. One more important thing here is the GATE Score. GATE entrace exam is for the M.Tech course however the PSU give high importance to the GATE exam and candidates who have performed extremely well in the GATE exam may not require to appear in the written test and would be called upon for the direct interview. So make sure you have appeared in the GATE exam or you will be at disadvantage while applying for Engineering related jobs. |
