Re: What is the fee structure for BITS Pilani? The details of fees of the courses offered at BITS Pilani are as under; Tuition Fee B.Tech. Rs. 62,500/- Per Semester M.Tech. Rs. 62,500/- Per Semester Ph.D. Rs. 16,500/- Per Semester Fees in Summer Terms for all the courses is Rs. 31,250/- Hostel Fee is Rs. 3000/- per semester and Rs. 1500 in Summer terms. Mess and Electricity Charges is approximately Rs. 6000/- per semester and is Rs. 3000/- in Summer term. I THINK Engineering sector the fee structure is: Admission Fees-15,000/- Semester Fees- 40000..,First Semester- 40000,Second Semester-20000 This is basic fee and for another programme this fee will be increased as in the MBA and P.hd. In the Engineering sector the fee structure is: Admission Fees-15,000/-* Semester Fees- 40000 First Semester- 40000 Second Semester-20000 This is basic fee and for another programme this fee will be increased as in the MBA and P.hd. |

The structure for one year is as follows: Admission 16,500/- First semester Rs. 62,500/- Second semester Rs. 62,500/- Summer term Rs. 31,250/- Students' union Rs. 200/- Students Aid fund Rs. 50/- Hostel fees First semester Rs. 3,000/- Hostel fees Second semester Rs. 3,000/- Hostel fees Summer term Rs. 1,500/- Mess and electricity advance Rs. 6,000/- each for first and second semesters and Rs. 3,000/- for summer term. These are adjusted against actuals. Modernization fee Rs. 1,000/- Caution Deposit Rs. 2,000/- This was the structure for 2011-12. For the coming year, it could go up slightly. |
