Here is the complete Eligibility Criteria Set by the Union Public Service Commission for NDA Examination that candidates have to follow in any case if they want to appear in the examination : a) You must have completed 12th from any recognized board in science stream with Maths as your key subject. b) Your age must lie in between 16.5-19 years. c) You must be Indian male who is unmarried. d) Physical Standards :   This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health. There is certain prescribed Physical standard to be maintained for the aspiring candidate, hence a reference can be made from this attached file regarding Physical Standard. |

Physical standards required for NDA entrance examination like EYESIGHT, height etc.? hi friend Physical standards required for NDA entrance examination are as follows- Height should be at least 157.5 cms & 162.5cms for Air Force wing. Chest should be fully expanded. The fully expanded chest should not be less than 80cms. There should not be any disease of bones or joints of the body. should not be overweight or under weight. He should not have weakly constitution. Your vision in one eye must be perfect - 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6. thanks ok all the best. |

First NDA exam is conducted for students who have completed their class 12. ELIGIBILITY: 1.You must be a citizen of India. 2.You must be aged between 16 1/2 and 19. 3.You must be an unmarried male. 4.For army wing it is enough that you had a pass in class 12. But for navy and airforce you need to be in science stream in class 12. 5.You need a minimum height of 157.5 cms.For airforce alone you need 162.5 cms height. If you missed this you can write CDSE -Combined defense services examination 1.For this you need a graduation in any discipline for army and a science or engineering degree for navy and airforce. 2.AGE LIMIT: Army: 19 to 24 Navy:19 to 22 Airforce:19 to 23 You need to clear the exams and also pass the medical and physical tests conducted. |
