I have got 85.9% in AP board 2015 for both the years but my second year physics marks were 34.So, if I expect my bitsat 2015 score to be more than cutoff will it be possible for me to get a seat in bits Hyderabad? |

Re: Minimum marks required in BITSAT to get admission in BITS Hyderabad for any B.Tech course? sir, i scored 387 in bits 2013 . i have a doubt in filling the application form online .i am an student of andhra pradesh . in the form it is mentioned that 12th class marks have to be typed along with subject wise marks in phy,che and math. you know that we do not have any 11 or 12th classes here. its first year and second year .so which marks should i type is it just second year marks or both years grand total. |

The score you have obtained is unfortunately too low to expect a seat in BITS Hyderabad campus. The minimum marks required to be in the wait list this year is 248 so there's no chance of getting a seat below 248 marks. I suggest you should now forget about BITS and look towards taking admission in some other good college soon as the admission procedure for most of the colleges is now over. Else you have the option of taking a drop of one year for studies. You can consider this option if you are sincerely determined to study for one whole year with full effort and consistency. If you do, you can have a chance to study in the best colleges in our country such as IITs, NITs and BITS amongst all others. Good luck! |

As you must be aware, the minimum marks for assured admission in any stream is 262 and cut off for the waiting list is 248 marks. Now with 257 marks, in my opinion you surely will not get a core stream in either of the three branches(courses such as computer science, Mechanical, Civil). However, you can expect the following courses: BITS Pilani campus :
BITS Goa campus :
BITS Hyderabad campus :
