 There are some good no of universities in India providing distance part-time courses in MBA .As you would have known to the fact that IGNOU is the best university for distance learning in India. IGNOU stands for Indira Gandhi National Open University .  It is very useful for those students who are in jobs or are applying for some job . As they prefer to do course by distance learning as they dont have enough time to spend on the regular M.B.A classes. If you wanted to take admission in the distance learning programme of India's top distance learning University i.e IGNOU so you have to go for the OPENMAT test which is conducted by IGNOU from time to time. If you passed the exam then you can get an admission in the M.B.A distance learning programme of India's largest distance learning university. The IGNOU is run by the Government of India for those students who prefer distance learning instead of a regular course. Open MAT is conducted by IGNOU for the admission into M.B.A distance learning programme. format of OPEN mat test: The OPEN MAT test is of 3 hours test consisting of 200 Multiple choice questions (M.C.Q) . There are 4 sections in the OPEN MAT . The details of which is given as under: Section -A General awareness: 30 questions In the G.A section the questions of current affairs and current news about the Science & Technology , Sports & politics related questions are asked . Section -B English language : 50 questions In this section there are two passages followed by questions based on these passages. You should have good knowledge of English Grammer --Adverbs , verb , Noun , Adjectives , Prepositions etc. are asked . Section -C Quantitave Aptitude : 50 questions The quantitative aptitude test consists of allegations questions which are part of quantitative questions. The quantitative aptitude test is the test of your interest in arithmetic section . Section - D Reasoning Ability test : 70 questions In this section topics like descriptive reasoning , inductive reasoning , problem solving , decision making ,probability judgement , conceptual thinking and the infuence of language and culture on thoughts.
