If you want to get job in income Tax department then you will have to fulfill eligibility criteria of income tax officer. you should be complete your graduation in any stream from recognized University. age should be 18 years to 25 years on the first July of the year of examination. The upper age limit is relax-able for sc/st/obc. All the best............... |

Re: How to get Job in Income Tax Department? The examination contains the selection procedure which are to be followed for appearing to this examination and the examination contains... Preliminary Examination Main Examination Prelims contains the General Awareness and the Arithmetic part of study.... Mains contains the course like General Studies English Arithmetic Language Communication skills These are the examination pattern which are to be followed for appearing to the Income tax officer examination... Educational qualification required:-You must be graduation pass out from any stream. Age details:-You should have a minimum age of 18 years. Percentage of marks required:-You should have a minimum of 50% marks in your graduation. Other details related to this exam is as follows:- Your graduation degree must be recognized from the state government or from the central government. Your degree must be approved from the UGC. You will be allowed to appear in this exam till the age of 28 years. However age relaxations will be provided to you if you belongs from the reserved category candidates. If you belongs from the obc category then you will get 3 years of age relaxations. If you belongs from the sc/st category then you will get 5 years of age relaxations. The exam notifications related to this exam basically comes in the month of march. |

The criteria for becoming income tax officer - -the candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university -the age limit is 22 - 32 yrs. -after all this you have to give entrance exam in written if you will selected then you will call for inteview.... As already mentioned, one need to attend a written examination which is conducted by the SSC. The exam will be an objective type which will generally include topics such -General Awareness -General Intelligence -Arithmetical Ability and -General English. |

Re: How to get Job in Income Tax Department? Yes you can definitely attend the ITO exam after graduation. This is an exam which is conducted by the SSC. You need to be a minimum graduate for attending this exam. You can be a graduate in any discipline. You need to be between 18 – 27 years. There will be age relaxations in case of the reserved categories. You need to be physically fit also. You will be selected mainly on the basis of the written examination for the interview round. Be well prepared for both these rounds. |

B-for female- Height- 152 cms and Weight- 48 Kg Physical Test- Walking-1 km in 20 minutes and Cycling-3 km in 2 |
