The Age criteria should be between 19-24 years for applying the above exam. Your martial status should be single. Both Male & Female candidates can apply. Should be a citizen of India. Good Luck.. |

Age eligiblity for CDS Examination - For Indian Military Academy The candidate should be male, unmarried and your age should between 19 to 24 years. For Naval Academy Unmarried male between the age of 19 to 22 years are eligible for navy. For Air Force Academy those are are unmarried male and between the age of 19 To 23 years are eligible. For Officers Training Academy - Male candidates both married & unmarried born between the age of 19 to 25 years. For IMA: Unmarried male candidates between 19-24 years on 1st January or 1st July of the year succeeding the year of examination. 2. For Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates between 19-22 years on 1st January or 1st July of the year succeeding; the year of examination. For Air Force Academy: Unmarried male candidates between 19-23 years on 1st January or 1st July of the year succeeding the year of examination. 3. For Officers Training Academy: Male candidates (married or unmarried) between 19-25 years on 1st January or 1st July of the year succeeding the year of examination. |

Re: What is the maximum age limit to join Combined Defense Services? For each the defense areas there is a difference in the maximum age limit requirements. The minimum age should be 19 years and above. For the Air Force the candidate should not be over 23 years, for Navy it is 22 years and Army it is 24 years. Those joining through the Officer's Training course 25 years is the limit. If your age is within the limits specified you will be eligible for the same provided you satisty the other criterias. |
