TNPSC VAO Exam Details and Question Papers:

To fill up the 1870 vacant seats TNPSC is conducting the VAO exam which is on 9th of September 2012. To sit for this exam one has to meet with certain eligibility criteria which have been listed below.

~You must have secondary school leaving certificate or its equivalent to be considered eligible. A higher qualification will be considered only if you have this certificate otherwise not.

~Your age on 1st of July 2012 should be 21 years. a rule mandatory both for the general and reserved categories. It should not exceed 30 if you are a general candidate(it is 40 in case of reserved categories).

~Since it is important for you to be physically fit during this certificate therefore you have to produce before them your physical fitness certificate.

~Proficiency in Tamil language is another important criteria.

~There will be 200 questions from general english, general tamil and general knowledge and the total marks alloted is 300 out of which 90 marks needs to be attained to qualify. Only then you can qualify to the next stage of selection.
