Re: Scope of Java in government sector?

If you are looking for a job in government sector then you have some options like you can apply for IT specialist officer exam as it is conducted by IBPS CWE exam and IBPS conducts it on yearly basis.

SYLLABUS FOR IT OFFICER (Scale-1 and 2)

Test of Reasoning (50 Ques)
Test of English Language (50 Ques)
Test of Quantitative Aptitude (50 Ques)
Test of Professional Knowledge (75 Ques)

Total questions- 200

And cutoff marks will be 21.So start your preparation for the same.

Thanks....

Re: Scope of Java in government sector?

There are a lot of job opportunities after completing java course. You can join as programmer in most of the IT firms. Some of the companies in government sector are CDAC, CDIT etc. You can find opportunities in many software firms like Infosys, Wipro, IBM, etc. Another option for you is to opt for teaching profession. You can get opportunities in teaching in both government and private institutions.

Re: Scope of Java in government sector?

hello pal,
expecting a government job in java being a b.tech is like looking for a shopping mall in a desert.
but government bodies like ECIL(electronics corporation india limited) provides some software maintainance jobs, but on contractual basis only, which have no bright future.

better you think about BBNL jto(junior telecom officer ) job.
or gather minimum ten years of experience in software field to get inti national informatics center or NIC.

best of luck....
