Re: Can I do BCA and MCA after passing 12th commerce without Maths? hi for joining the BCA and MCA course there is a cumpolsary requirement that you should be having mathematics as your main subjects in class 12th and as you do not have mathematics as your subject, therefore you are not eligible. |

Re: Can I do BCA and MCA after passing 12th commerce without Maths? I have completed 12th in 82% Marks in 2 commerce under CBSE and continuing B.Com 5th Semester in CBCSS schme of M.G. University in Kerala. My choice in 5th semester is Mathematics, and I have One paper in Statistics in Plus 2. Can I do MCA in any university in Kerala, TamilNadu or Karnataka. |

Re: Can I do BCA and MCA after passing 12th commerce without Maths? you can do BCA after +2 class but if you take maths in +2 with commerce otherwise you can't do BCA because in BCA there are so many subjects related to mathematics.And MCA is the masters in computer applications then you can't do MCA also. |

Re: Can I do BCA and MCA after passing 12th commerce without Maths? dear friend. there are a very few number of institutes who offers bca without having maths in 12th. also after the completion of bca you will not be eligible to appear in any mca entrance test, so you have to take the direct admission into mca. so my suggestion is that dont go for bca without having maths in 12th. you can go for bba it is a very good course and carrier oriented also you can be further pursue mba after it or cs or cfa and many other courses also. so instead of bca go for bba. think twice before taking the admission, because you have to make the final decision. all the best. |

The BCA or MCA candidates compulsory have the mathematics subject in 12th standard. So the commerce students are the not eligible for the BCA or MCA courses. BCA stands for Bachelor of computer Application. This is a UG course. MCA stands for the Master of Computer Application. This is a PG course. These two courses are the candidate need the 12th standard with mathematics subject from any recognized school or equivalent discipline. There is no minimum percentage marks required to eligible for these exams. The final year candidates are eligible. All the best. |

BCA - Bachelor of Computer Application This is a UG course of 3 years duration MCA - Master of Computer Application This is a PG course of 3 years duration. You cannot apply for both the courses as the criteria says that the candidate applying for joining in both the courses must have completed +2 with mathematics as subject As you have completed +2 commerce without mathematics you are ineligible to join in BCA or neither MCA course as you don't satisfy the education qualification needed for joining in these courses. |

Re: Can I do BCA and MCA after passing 12th commerce without Maths? In order to study BCA you should pass class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks. Most institutes(the top reputed ones) insists that you should have mathematics at 10+2 level. So its an important criteria. Thus you are not eligible for this course if you dont have mathematics. |
