Hey friend,

First of all my friend you are not eligible for IES Exam not only because that you have only completed 2 semesters in M.A Economics which is a PG Course.

Reason:

It is because of the eligibilty conditions framed for the IES exam as it states that the candidate applying for the IES must have been a student of Engineering/Technology in the following:

> Civil Engineering,
> Mechanical Engineering,
> Electrical Engineering and
> Electronics & Tele Communication Engineering

But as you have studied in M.A Economics which is not listed in the list you are not satisfying the needed education qualification for the exam, which makes you ineligible for applying for the IES Exam.

It is important that you need to satisfy all the standards framed for the exam,as you are not satisfying them, then it is clear that you are ineligible for applying
