Re: How to join Indian Army after qualifying 12th? After 12th you can join Indian Army through appearing NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted by UPSC two times a year. To join Indian Army of NDA one must be a male candidate only and must be an unmarried Indian National. He should have completed 12th in any stream from a recognised Board. The final 12th exam appearing candidate is also eligible to apply for NDA. The candidate should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health. The NDA can be applied through on line by paying requisite fees for Exam. The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test. Re: How to join Indian Army after qualifying 12th?  Hi.. Dear,.. You want to serve the nation by joining Indian army, which is really appreciable. After 12th there is a exam, known as NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA) EXAM, which is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC). Through this examination, one can get a way in Indian air force,naval force & military force. For apply in INDIAN AIR FORCE (IAF) & NAVAL ACADEMY (NA), you must have least 60% in graduation with subject Physics & Maths. Otherwise, you can only apply for the Indian military (IMA). The age limit for this academics are - 16.5-19 YEARS for all categories. Remind that, there is not any kind of age limit relaxation criteria is applicable for any reserved category. Exam pattern-  You must have marital status unmarried. You must have Indian nationality . PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS-  There are some relaxation are applicable for these communities ....... Re: How to join Indian Army after qualifying 12th? Pass in 12th class is the basic qualification required to join defense. Selection is done on the basis of NDA exam. You can join Indian navy only if you have completed HSC course with science as the main subject. Unmarried males are only eligible for NDA exam. Age of the candidate must be between 16 1/2 and 19 years. |
