For the recruitment of Village Administrative Officer an exam is conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). Whenever there is a vacancy of this post then notifications are released in two parts: one for the SC/ST category and the other one for the rest of the categories. The exam notification is usually released in the TNPSC website and also is published in the Employment news. This year the notification for this exam is likely to release in the month of August but nothing is finalized as yet. Educational Qualification:- You should have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission into Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) in College Courses of studies. Age Limit:-
Since you will be posted in one of the villages of Tamilnadu therefore it is very important to know how to read and write in Tamil language. On knowing that you have to sit for a Tamil exam which is also conducted by TNPSC. This exam needs to be given after you get selected within two years from selection. Written Test Pattern:- There will be mainly two sections in the exam:- General Knowledge and General Tamil/General English. From each section 10 questions will come and 150 marks have been allotted for each section. The whole paper needs to be completed in three hours. You have to get at least 90 marks to qualify. Re: VAO model question papers in Tamil? Wannakam, I have attached the VAO 2007 Question in TAmil as you had requested for. Kindly have a look.The paper is solved and you may find the answers too. Date of exam is 27th February 2011(10AM to 1PM) Previously there were 2653 posts but now there is addition of 831 posts by TPSC So the total number of VAO vacancies is 3484! |
