Dear aspirant,  ~> Yes, you can join Indian Army if you passed 10+2 with Arts Stream. ~> You can join Army Wing of National Defence Academy if you have passed 10+2 from PCM/Arts/Commercre Stream. ~> You will have to appear for NDA Exam that is commenced twice by UPSC every year. Eligibility Criteria: ~> According to Eligibility Criteria of NDA Exam, >> Only Unmarried Male Candidates are eligible to appear in this exam. >> Age limit is betwen 16.5 to 19 years. >> Candidates must be 10+2 passed/appearing from any Stream i.e. PCM (for all wings) or Arts/Commerce (for Army Wing only). How to Apply: >> You can apply for this Exam only Online through upsconline.nic.in >> For more information, you can visit: upsc.gov.in |

Yes!!!!! you are eligible to apply for the Indian Army as an officer after the 10+2 through National defence academy examination. The NDA examination is conducted twice a year for the selection of candidate as an officer in Indian Army, Air force and Navy. The eligibility required for the National defence academy examination is given below: Age Limit Candidate applying for the National defence academy examination should have age between 16.5 to 19 years. No relaxation in age is given to any reserved category candidates. Education Qualification * A candidate should be 10+2 pass. *Those appeared in the 10+2 exam are also eligible. *Candidate should have physics and Maths at 10+2 for Indian Air force and Navy. Hai, Yes shore you are eligible for Indian army through NDA(National Defence Academy) exam, which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) two times in a year i.e NDA-I, NDA-II In NDA there is a three types of wings: Indian army, Indian navy, Indian airforce. NDA has recruiting members for these three wings. The eligibility criteria and other details are mentioned below. You should be complete 12th standard from a recognised state or central board of india. Percentage is not required for this exam. But for indian navy and airforce you must have physics, chemistry and mathematics as your subjects in 12th standard. Only unmarried male candidates are eligibledor NDA. Girls are not eligible for NDA. Age limits are 16.5 years to 19years. There is no relaxation for the OBC and SC/ST candidates. The selection procedure for NDA exam is based on three stages one by one. First one is written test if you are qualify in written test then you can note up to next stage i.e interview and after this medical test. NDA-I exam is already over, So the important dates for NDA-II is mentioned below Important dates for NDA-II: Date of notification;05-may-2012, Last date for application forms:04-june-2012, Examination date:19-aug-2012. HI, There are two ways to join Indian army are:- >>N.D.A(after passing 12th) >>C.D.S(after passing graduation) Both N.D.A, C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. In both the exam selection procedure is same. There are 3 steps of selection:- -Written exam. -Interview -medical exam. For more detail log on to www.upsc.gov.in good luck |
