Re: What is the qualification required to join CBI officer? CBI exam is conducted by the SSC.SSC conduct the exam as SSC CGL entrance exam for the various departments. To be eligible for this exam is to have a graduation course in any stream with good percentile. The final year graduation degree aspirant are also eligible to write this exam. The students who wish to appear in this exam their age must be in between 20 years to 27 years.There is relaxation by 3 years for the Obc Category students and it is by 5 years for the SC/ST students. |

Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) Eligibility Criteria :--------------- Education Qualification: candidate should hold a Bachelor Degree of any stream. Age : The candidate must have attained the age of 20 years on 1st July of the year of examination and must not have attained 27 years of age on that date. The Upper age limit will be relaxed 3 years of OBC candidates and 5 years of ST/SC candidates. Physical Requirements : > Height : For Men - 165 cms, For Women - 150 cms, Height Relax able for Hillsmen and Tribals - 5 cms > Chest: 76 cms with expansion > Vision : Eye Sight (with or without glasses ) Distant Vision - 6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye Near Vision - 0.6 in one eye and 08 in other eye Exam Pattern :-------- 1. Re: What is the qualification required to join CBI officer? To become an CBI officer you have to appear in the SSC conducted Combined Graduate Level exams This Exam is conducted by SSC each year. Educational qualifications: Bachelors Degree Pass in any stream No Minimum Percentage is required in Graduation AGE- Minimum 18 years (for CBI Minimum age is 20 years) Maximum 27 years OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations Next Tier 1 Exam of the SSC Combined Graduate level will be held in May 2014 Notification and advertisement will come out in Jan 2014 Questions will be asked from the Below Sections in this Exams: >> English Comprehension >> General Awareness >> Quantitative Aptitude >> General Intelligence and Reasoning Minimum height required for CBI post: Male -165 cms Female -150 cms Chest-76 cms |

After that you can apper in Combined Graduate Lavel exam.this exam of Staff selection Commission conducted Government of India. Age of candidate for cbi exam should be minimum 20 and maximum 27 years. Relaxation for obc is 3 years. Relaxation for sc/st is 5 years. Height must be minimum 165 cm and chest 76 cms. Selection process: 1.Written preliminary exam: General intelligence and general awareness Arithmetic 2.Main exam: General studies English Arithmetic Language Communication skill and writing Personality test: its final stage for selection check your personality and mentality check Thank you. |

 CBI Officer Exam Eligibility Criteria:- CBI stands for Combined Graduate Level Examination. If you wish to become a CBI officer then you need to sit for this exam. Staff Selection Commission conducts this examination once a year. Generally for the post of Sub-Inspectors of Police in Central Bureau of Investigation this exam is conducted. This exam can be given for the following posts:
Educational Qualification:- You should have an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Age Criteria:- Age should be between 20 and 27 years for the post of Assistants and Sub-Inspectors in CBI. Age should be between 18 and 27 years for the post of Inspector of Income Tax/ Assistant Enforcement Officer and Divisional Accountant/Auditors/ UDCs. Selection Procedure:- The selection procedure consists of three stages:
The preliminary exam consists of objective questions in english. There are two sections under this exam. Total marks allotted and total questions that will be asked are both the same:- 200. The main exam consist of two parts: Written exam and personality test. There are five sections under this exam.  Hope this helps
