Re: Pay, allowances and incentives for IES officers? hi, The payscale of the IES officers varies according to department. The basic pay ranges from 18,000 to 24,000 INR. Apart from basic pay various allowances such as Dearness Allowance, City compensatory Allowance, Leave Travel Allowance, Medical and subsidised housing allowance etc are given to IES officers. On an average in hand salary ranges from 40,000 to 55,000 INR. Also all the facilities of a first class officer is provided to them. |

The initial salary of an IES officer is in the payband of Rs.15900-Rs.39100 + grade pay of Rs.5400. Apart from this subsidised housing, dearness Allowance, city compensatory Allowance, leave travell Allowance, medical facilities, etc are provided. As per experience and hard work, post and salary increases gradually. Good luck. |
