Mostly private sector companies take freshers through campus interviews. They also prefer intern candidates to fill job vacancies. Try to get an intern and proceed with that

As you have completed your Graduation in Mechanical Engineering , you have many job opportunities in Government as well as in Private sectors.

Eligibility Criteria:
You must score a minimum of 60% in your Graduation without any backlogs from a recognized university.
Your age must be in between 21 to 30 years.
You must ge good score in GATE so as to get good job.
In Government sectors:
DRDO
SAIL
GAIL
ISRO
HAL
NAL
HPCL
IOCL
NTPC
POWER GRID , etc

Try to remember the basic knowledge of mechanical engg. that wud help u out in aptitude and technical interview.If u r interested in design thn try to learn softwares like ansys,pro-e,catia,etc which wud increase ur resume's weightage.

Aptitude test are rather easy & most of them go through it.For the test 10th standard maths is asked along with English questions.You can practice them from R.S. Agarwal Qauntitaive aptitude book or you can join a placement training for 2 months.

A good technical background is required along with excellent communication skills.
On-Campus jobs are rather easy compared to off campus.
There are three rounds done by comapany-:
1.Aptitude Test
2.GD
3.Technical HR Interview

OTHER EXAM LIKE NTPC , SAIL, GAIL , NHPC , DMRC, CIL, NPCIL. PRIVATE COMPANIES LIKE JINDAL AND MONNET ALSO TAKE EXAMS. YOU CAN ALSO UPLOAD YOUR RESUME AT DIFFERENT PRIVATE COMPANIES LIKE ADITYA BIRLA, ASHOKA LEYLAND , TATA etc.
